Chinese divers win three golds at Diving World Series

 　　MOSCOW, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese divers² won three golds at the FINA Diving World Series³ in Moscow Friday, but the Chinese team played cool with the results as many players believed they had not performed their best.

　　China's He Chong, who is an Olympic and World Cup champion, claimed the men's three-meter springboard title at 497.65 points. He was followed by Russia's Evgeny Kuznetsov at 477.05 points. Russia's Illya Zakharov finished the third at 454.80 points.

　　However, He was not satisfied⁴ with the result. "I didn't perform well today, otherwise I would gain 20 points more in the game," He said.

　　In the following women's synchro three-meter springboard, China 's Wu Minxia/He Zi won the first at 320.40 points, while Italy's Tania Cagnotto/ Francesca Dallape finished the second at 304.80 points. American Bryant Kelci/Abigail Johnston took the third place at 303.30 points.

　　"We are not in good condition today, because we are tired of frequent⁵ games in recent days," Wu said. "But the series is a best way to strengthen⁶ player's mind, so we will try our best to finish the games."

　　In women's ten-meter platform, China's Chen Ruolin led the game at 391.00 points, while another Chinese diver¹ Hu Yadan finished the third at 353.20 points. Ukraine's Luliia Prokopchuk took the second place at 358.65 points.

　　Chen said she didn't play her best in the game, and she hoped to reach her best condition by practices and training.

　　In men's synchro ten-meter platform, China's Lin Yue/Huo Liang didn't perform their best and only finished the fourth.

　　The Moscow stop, the third in the Diving World Series which featured stops of Dubai, Beijing, Moscow and Tijuana, will run through Saturday with eight events.
