Top political advisor visits exhibitions

 BEIJING, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Top political advisor¹ Jia Qinglin on Monday visited two exhibitions showcasing China's sustainable use of mines and charitable deeds of the country's political advisors².

Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), praised the achievements of the country's mines.

The mine exhibition was sponsored by the Committee of Population, Resources and Environment of the CPPCC National Committee and the Ministry³ of Land and Resources.

The charity exhibition was sponsored by the Committee of Cultural and Historical Data of the CPPCC National Committee, the information bureau under the General Office of the CPPCC National Committee and an official magazine of the CPPCC National Committee.

The exhibition was about political advisors devoting themselves to China's charitable causes and their participation⁴ in philanthropy.
