文莱举行牙科保健研讨会

 　　BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 2 (Xinhua) -- A symposium¹ on quality dental care, organized by the Department of Dental Services and Ministry² of Health organized was held on Friday.

　　Two hundred participants comprising dentists, dental nurses, dental hygienist and therapists and dental surgery assistants from Ministry of Health and Ministry of Defense³ attended the symposium themed "Developing the Dynamic Team."

　　The symposium aimed to increase awareness⁴ of the different skill-mix within the dental workforce⁵ and to encourage the spirit of teamwork with a series of lectures and programs lining⁶ up for the department.

　　A workshop was conducted to utilize⁷ the knowledge gained from the lectures.

　　The Dental Hygiene⁸ and Therapy Training Unit hopes that through this symposium, the participants will be able to adopt effective teamwork in pursuit of quality dental care.
