 The Los Angeles Lakers may not be done making moves in the offseason. The storied franchise¹ has held off the signing of rookie Brandon Ingram and Tarik Black in the event the team finds another player to add to the roster².

The move has been confirmed by Sina Sports in Beijing, which is further reporting that he has signed a US$ 1.14-million contract with the Lakers.

Yi Jianlian is no stranger to the NBA. The Chinese seven-footer has played for four different teams in the NBA with short stints³ with the Milwaukee Bucks⁴, New Jersey⁵ Nets, Washington Wizards, and Dallas Mavericks⁶.

Yi Jianlian last played in the NBA in 2012, when he appeared in 30 games and averaged 6.8 minutes per appearance for the Dallas Mavericks. Back in China, he signed for a team in south China's Guangdong.
