The battle is on in Europe to clear the backlog1 of passengers who have been stranded2 by the continent's appalling3 weather. Airports have reopened and planes are flying again. And some residents on Christmas Island are now worried that the overcrowded detention10 centres there are ruining the tiny community. One resident is calling on the migration11 minister to cap the number of asylum12 seekers held on the island. And authorities have now found the relatives of the last of the three children who were orphaned13 in that Christmas Island boat tragedy.
