An inquest begins today into the death of a Brazilian student tasered by police in Sydney. Twenty-one-year-old Roberto Curti was tasered three times after he allegedly stole a packet of biscuits from a convenience store in the city in March. He died at the scene. The incident caused outrage6 both in Australia and Brazil.
And Turkey has again retaliated7 after another shell fired from Syria landed at a Turkish village near the border. It's the same village that was hit by the Syrian shell last week. Five civilians8 were killed in that attack. It's the 5th day Turkey has fired into Syria and tensions along that border remain very high.
