Brazilian police say they're investigating whether a body discovered on a beach near Rio De Janeiro is that of Australian backpacker Rye Hunt.

Mr hunt disappeared on the 21st of May after separating from his travelling companion.

Investigators¹ say they'll request a D-N-A sample from Mr hunt's uncle, who's in Rio helping² with the search.
