US president elect Donald Trump¹ remains² unapologetic about a controversial phone call with Taiwan's leader which has raised tensions with China. Beijing has issued a formal complaint over the call considered a breach³ of long standing⁴ tradition. Chinese state media says the incident exposes Mr Trump's inexperience.
