The US President Donald Trump¹ has given his first extended interview since the impeachment² inquiry⁴ hearings began, launching a tirade⁵ against Democrats⁶, the news media and Ukraine. During the more than 50-minute long phone call on Fox News, president Trump declared he would like an impeachment trial in the Senate, if the House of Representatives votes to impeach³ him.
