China criticizes inflammatory rhetoric¹ on Ukraine

Chinese authorities have said that it is irresponsible under the current circumstances to wield² inflammatory rhetoric when addressing the Ukrainian situation.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry³ urged all parties to create the conditions necessary for a political solution in a fair and open manner.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin warned that advocating confrontation⁴ is a regression to the obsolete⁵ Cold War-era tactics.

Washington is seeking to split seven billion U.S. dollars of frozen Afghan assets between humanitarian¹² aid to Afghanistan and compensation for September 11 victims.
