 Hey,I'm Carlo Azuz,today's edition of CNN student news goes out to Smith station High school and Smith station Junior High who visit us the CNN center last week,that's great to see you guys.This is our last week of show for 2011.We are going to started right now.

 

First up reports of deadline for people protest against their government in Syria.Stop the demonstration¹ and handing your weapon by tonight or face the boomerang,this is the warning the Syria government reportedly give to protesters in the City of H.,and it's according to the group who are opposed to the Syria government.People have been protesting in Syria for months,and the Syria government military have been accused of using violence against these protesters.The protesters say that the military has dug trenches² around H. and there is no electricity or water in the city.Syria officials deny those reports,and they haven't said anything about Monday deadline.CNN can't confirm these reports on either side,because Syria won't let the international reporters inside the country.

 

 

Moving to Afghanistan now where officials are talking future about that country's security.The head of US special operation troops in Afghanistan said he supports the plan to increase the number of Afghans who are armed and paid by NATO to protect their own villages ,this is a police and army like you see in this training video.We are talking about the local groups and some of them are already doing this.Opinions are split about the plan,supporters say the groups cost less money and respond fast to the threats, critics are concerned that the group might turn on their communities and get involved in the rival race with neighboring groups.

 

 

Our last stop in this part of world is in Iran,and it could be the last stop for one vehicle too.Iran's officials say they are not going to return unmanned US s** plane Iran claims to shot down recently.Iran says no one sends back spying equipment.This video shows what could be the drone Iran's talking about.The US officials aren't even sure the plane in the video is American.They ** the footage to see if it's a real drone plane.The US officials have confirm that US drone is missing,they said it was part of CIA mission.

That award is Nobel Peace Prize,this year's winners were honored in the ceremony in Oslo on Saturday.The three people who share this year's award all comes from the same country,one of them barely knows the other two.But they are all working toward the same goal.J. introduces us this years' Peace Prize winners.

 

 

And **,a head of state,and the symbol of A** from Liberia in west Africa,and Yemen,southern edge of Arabian peninsula,three women have risked their lives to transform their nations,Leymah Gbowee,assembling a women's movement that have astonishing results, helping⁴ end more than a decade war with little more than protest and prayers.

Ellen Johnson Sirleaf,African's first elected female head of the state,working to bring the benefits of peace to the country that have been pillaged⁵ by leaders and warlords.

Tawakkul Karman,first Arab woman ever to win a Nobel Peace Prize,who took on a dictator and continue the drive for democracy in Yemen.

 

The three women who won the Nobel Prize,they are all remarkable⁶ examples,not only their own determination and spirit,but also a reminder⁷ that when we empower women around the world,then everyone is better off.

Women not just demanding women's rights,but taking on powerful dangerous men to demand what is right for everyone.The words of this years citation,it is the Norwegian committees' hope,that the prize to  Leymah Gbowee,Ellen Johnson Sirleaf,Tawakkul Karman will help to bring an end to suppression of women that still occurs in many countries,and to realize the great potential for democracy and peace that women can represent.
