Voting in the Louisiana, GOP primary is well under way, CNN's Joe Johns is in New Orleans, and he says so far turn out is light.

Very slow, we are in the Jefferson Parish area at *, and we've been watching, actually there is a vote count over here, who tells us 35 maybe 40 people or so since the poll open. They are not expecting a lot of turn out at all here in the state. I think this poll is very indicative.

Rick Santorium is the favourite 20 delegates here at stake.

 

President Obama says US energy policy needs to be about more than just "Drill, baby, drill!"

Even though America uses around 20% of the world's oil, we only have around 2% of the world's known oil reserves. So even if we drill everywhere, we'd still be relying on other countries for oil.

 

In this weekly address, the President said his all of the above strategy includs more oil and gas here at home but also more biofuels and fuel-efficient cars, more solar power and wind power.

 

In the Republican address, Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnel says his party remains² committed to repealing³ the healthcare reform law. He says Americas want more commen sense approach to affordable⁴ healthcare.

 

6 children and 2 adults were killed over night in a house fire in Charleston, West Virginia, says a fire chief Bob Sharp.

But as the 12th year I've been on the fire department, I've never seen a tragedy, the biggest one we face last night.

A 7th child is in intensive care, the * surviving the door is also in hospital. All of the victims participated in a Friday night birthday party.
