Technology is the theme of Wednesday’s CNN student news. Thanks for watching. We got reports involving internet connectivity and internet … for safety of travelers. We’ll get to it as soon as we can dig out all the snow. While not a lot at Atlanta, but Us Midwest and northeast are getting one-two punch this week. Sound familiar? They had a wicked winter. This time around, some northeast streets could be under ice. Last year the farmers almanac predicted a bitterly cold winter for the region. And a major storm right around the time of the super bowl. It looks that they got it right. Preparations for it might take a toll1 on the other parts of the Northeast.
Millions along the east coast are digging out Monday’s record-breaking snow storm. Snow is coming down faster than we can
plow2 it. The winter storm is transferring New York’s Central Park into a winter wonderland in just hours, setting a new daily record at eight inches. “Bad things arrive from the Summer(?)”. For thousands travelers heading home from the Sunday Super bowl, the airports were anything but a wonderland. More than 2000 flights cancelled on Monday due to the storm. “we’re trying to go to Chicago, my flights are couple hours late and we are hoping it actually takes off”.
