2017年CRI Foreign companies optimistic on China's manufacturing upgrade

 

Surveys of foreign companies and organizations at a recent seminar on the "Made in China 2025" strategy suggest most remain optimistic about China's economic prospects¹.

As part of a seminar on transformation² in the manufacturing sector³, attendees have suggested the Chinese government can achieve its economic targets as long as it sticks to its commitment to globalization.

Representatives from Siemens have suggested the German firm remains⁴ committed to continued investment in China over the next few years.

Foreign Direct Investment into China declined by 1.3-percent through the first half of this year.

However, most observers are suggesting FDI may pick up through the 2nd half, as the economy in China remains stable.
