Rob: I'm reading this flyer, Susie. Some people want to start a lacrosse team.

Rob: Lacrosse is a sport. Two teams play it on a big field.

Susie: Do they kick a ball?

Rob: No. Players use lacrosse sticks to throw a ball into a goal.

Susie: That sounds really interesting.

Rob: It's a lot of fun, too!

Rob: Maybe they want to join the team.

Taylor: Lacrosse must be a hard sport.

Taylor: Lacrosse players wear a lot of gear¹. They are all wearing helmets, and pads² on their shoulders and elbows. They have big gloves, too!

Rob: Players also wear mouth guards.

Taylor: Really? Why?
