Father: That clock dosen't work.
What are you going³ to do with it, Betty?
Mother: I'm going to take it to the watchmaker's next week.
Father: Don't take it to the watchmaker's.
Give it to me.

Sandy: What are you doing,dad?
Father: I'm fixing this clock.

Father: No, Betty.
I can't put all these pieces together!
Mother: Oh,Jim!
Give me all the pieces.

v.使...固定，修理，准备
