Voters in 4 states are casting ballots1 in the latest round of presidential primaries. Michigan is considered the crown jewel of Tuesday's contests. Frontrunners Donald Trump2 and Hillary Clinton are pulling ahead there and looking to solidify3 their leads.
Vice4 President Joe Biden touched down in Israel Tuesday for meetings with Israeli and Palestinian leaders. His arrival came hours after Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled the proposed meeting with President Barack Obama in Washington later this month. Biden will meet with Netanyahu on Wednesday.
Federal meteorlogists say this past winter was the hottest in US records thanks to the combination of El Nino and man-made global warming. The average temperature for the lower 48 states from December through Feburary was 36.8 degrees, 4.6 degrees above normal.
And the Denver zoo says one of its critically endangered western lowland gorillas5 gave birth last month to a baby girl named named Whimsie Adepa.
