1. Andy Puzder, president Donald Trump¹'s pick to lead department of labor² has withdrawn³ his name from consideration. Democrats⁴ strongly opposed the pick, some republicans raised concerns about Puzder's failure to pay taxes on a former housekeeper⁵ who was unauthorized to work in the U.S.

2. President Trump is urging Israel to hold back on building Jewish settlements. He welcomed Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House, and said peace between Israel and Palestinian doesn't have to include a two-state solution.
