A white police officer who fatally shot a black woman inside her Texas home is set to be interviewed by investigators⁹. Fort Worth police say officers responded early Saturday after a neighbor called a non-emergency line to report the home's front door had been left open. The responding officer fired a shot through the homes window, killing¹⁰ Atatiana Jeffersonl.

And the 2019 Nobel prize in economics was awarded on Monday to Abhijit Banerjee, Esther Duflo and Michael Kremer for pioneering new ways to alleviate¹¹ global poverty. Banerjee and Duflo, who are married, are at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Kremer is at Harvard University. The three have often worked together.
