 On a scale of 1 to 10, how painful are the cramps¹?
1-10打个分，痉挛有多严重？

On a scale of 1 to 10: is a way for someone to understand how extreme something is.
1到10打个分，是用来让别人理解事情的严重程度。

If you are dressing² up for a party over the weekend, and you want to ask your friend for advice, you could say: "On a scale of 1 to 10, how cute is this outfit³?"
如果你在为周末的一个派对精心打扮，你想寻求朋友的意见，你会说“1到10打个分，这套衣服有多好看”。

A doctor asks you how painful something is "on a scale of 1 to 10", it means 1 is not very painful at all, while 10 means you are in extreme pain.
医生让你为疼痛1到10打分，是说1是一点也不疼，10是疼痛难忍。

那么我们如何回答，如何打分呢？

I’d say around 6. It’s hard to move around.
大概6分左右。疼得很难走动。

If you ask a friend: "On a scale of 1 to 10, how cute is this outfit?"
当你问朋友“1到10打个分，这套衣服有多好看”时

Your friend might reply back with, "I'd say a 7. It will look better if you add some accessories."
朋友可能会回复“我觉得有7分，如果你再加点配饰会更好看”。

1 cramps   

n. 抽筋, 腹部绞痛, 铁箍 adj. 狭窄的, 难解的 v. 使...抽筋, 以铁箍扣紧, 束缚

2 dressing

参考例句：

3 outfit

参考例句：

• His father bought a ski outfit for him on his birthday.他父亲在他生日那天给他买了一套滑雪用具。
