We just have waste and recyclables. We have two bins². One for recyclable materials like plastic, paper, glass, and metal. And another bin¹ for everything else.

我们只有废物和可回收物品。我们有两个垃圾桶。一个是用于塑料、纸张、玻璃和金属等可回收材料。另一个是用于剩下的所有东西。

Back home, we composted our kitchen waste. We just threw all the food scraps⁵ in a big box of dirt under the sink and used it to fertilize⁶ our garden.
