The penalty was imposed of GM handling the recalled cars with faulty egnition switches. The fact has been linked to 13 death. NPR started to explain it's the largest fine the government composed.
Deneral motors has made its wrong doing in failing to inform the public about a problem of egnition switches, which is shemy co-bolts and several other cars.
