For some, cooking can be a relaxing and artistic² experience as they patiently whip food ingredients into pleasant and edible³ dishes. But for most urban dwellers⁴, cooking can be a luxury they simply cannot afford, due to their tight schedules. 

To make cooking easier, now companies are offering delivery service of food ingredients washed, sliced and diced⁵, to your kitchen. 

Will meal kit service revive home cooking? Can this type of service improve the quality of our lives?

A banner in a residential⁷ area in Chengdu City has aroused heated debate.
