Lesson 13 Take a Chill¹ Pill

Chantel: Seriously, can you believe that guy?

Jackson: Who are you talking about?

Chantel: Razz. I mean, he knows that we're overworked right now as it is, what with Christmas coming and all. I'm already at my wits²' end trying to figure out the ads for the new line-up, and now he pulls this on us?

Jackson: What did he do this time?

Chantel: He went and booked a whole week off for himself during our busiest season. That means³ more work for the rest of us. I can't handle any more of his junk⁴. I've got a lot on my plate as it is.

Jackson: OK, Chantel. Take a chill pill, all right? You have to stop letting things like that get to you so much. You know he's been under a lot of pressure, too, right?

Chantel: Oh, so now you're taking his side?

Jackson: No. I just think he's smart for taking a step back and removing himself from the situation. Maybe we should follow his example, you know? It might help clear our heads.
