 　　He disappeared into his tunnel¹, pushing the goose egg in front of him.

　　它把那鹅蛋推在前面，钻进它的地道不见了。

　　He pushed and nudged till he succeeded in rolling it to his lair² under the trough.

　　它推啊推，直到成功地把它滚进食槽底下的老鼠洞里。

　　That afternoon, when the wind had died down and the barnyard was quiet and warm,

　　the grey goose led her seven goslings off the nest and out into the world.
