Among the online stars, there are those who specialize in performing via live streaming videos. These Wang Hong Beings are labeled "internet anchors" and they sing, chat, or even undergo plastic surgery while live streaming. While incurring2 criticism from some audiences, these internet anchors are also making fortunes through this business model. So what does it mean to be an online star? How did the online celebrity3 economy come into being? Is there a way to better regulate the industry?
