--A draft law in China's Sichuan province is encouraging its younger generations to live with their aging parents, so that they can play a more active role in taking care of the elderly.

--A survey shows the new middle class is also increasingly valuing experiences over expensive commodities, with most respondents showing a predilection³ for experiences such as learning, traveling, socializing, and entertainment.
