Coming up：The Communist Party of China has wrapped up its 19th national congress.The congress has elected a new Central Committee and a new Central Commission for Discipline Inspection¹.The new Central Committee's first plenary session has also elected a new Political Bureau, Standing² Committee of the Political Bureau, and General Secretary.The Congress adopted a revised Party Constitution which enshrines "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" as a new component³ of the Party's guide to action.Following the end of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, diplomats⁴, researchers and top officials have shared their view on Chinese development, which they say benefits not only China but also the rest of the world.
