 February, 17th 1992In Milwaukee, serial¹ killer² Jeffrey Dahmer receives his series of life sentences for his grisly string of murders. Dahmer has admitted to killing³ 17 young men and boys, some of whom he had mutilated and cannibalized. Just a few years later, Danhmer has beaten to death by a fellow inmate⁴ behind bars. 1801 In Washington, the House of Representatives breaks in an electoral tie between Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr. The House chooses Jefferson to be America’s third president, Burr becomes his vice⁵ president. 1996World chess champion Garry Kasparov beats Deep Blue, the IBM Super Computer in the 6-game-match in Philadelphia. “I knew that I could learn much better, because my opponent would need more time to learn, and to come back with a really sophisticated counterstrategy.”

The following year, Kasparov loses to Deep Blue in a rematch.
