The police spotted² him in seconds and put him in the back of a patrol car until he told the story.

So they just, kind of, let me run after it.” “I could hardly see it.” And the proposal did end happily ever after, after all. Walling did retrieve³ the ring and now has a story for the ages. "I had to get the ring back. Because it was a ring I picked up for her. And I want her to have it forever.” “He’s definitely my hero.”
