Read the text carefully and be prepared to answer the question:
Youth Culture
Older people often encounter bias¹ against them.  America has such a strong youth culture that some men even feel the need to dye their hair when they find a few greys.  At the top of the corporate² ladder, age and experience are still valued.  But in many other facets³ of life, older people are unfairly discriminated⁴ against.
As upsetting as this is, we should not find it surprising.  In light of America's relentless⁵ pursuit of the next new thing, American culture doesn't take the potential contributions of seniors as seriously as cultures that place a higher value on tradition do.

1 bias   

n.偏见，偏心，偏袒；vt.使有偏见

2 corporate

4 discriminated

5 relentless   

adj.残酷的，不留情的，无怜悯心的
