An unexpected break in the weather means I am able to make one more stab at the summit. -It's difficult to believe this is the same spot as yesterday without the rain. You can actually see. And look at that vista1!
With the spring back into my stab, the action turns up n* and my walk
penetrates2 the next tier of the Drakensberg. Here, I am almost
entirely3 surrounded by wall of mountains. Far above, the towering
spire4 of my Cathedral continues to
beckon5.

As I make my way upswing hill, the difference between the lower and up bird becomes even more clear. It's quite unlike any mountain range I've ever walked before.
