背单词技巧

背单词要有目的性，清楚自己参加什么考试，要有针对性，才更有热情。根据自己是哪类人，在一星期内复习相关词汇，力求反复掌握。 背单词过程： 看-认-背-用。现阶段只停留在前两阶段。
背单词一次只需了解1～2个词意，然后在阅读中不断扩展。可用新概念4做为阅读材料，定期背诵。

参考例句：

11 quaff   

v.一饮而尽；痛饮

参考例句：

12 frugal   

adj.节俭的，节约的，少量的，微量的

参考例句：

• He was a VIP,but he had a frugal life.他是位要人，但生活俭朴。
• The old woman is frugal to the extreme.那老妇人节约到了极点。

13 loom   

n.织布机，织机；v.隐现，(危险、忧虑等)迫近

参考例句：

• The old woman was weaving on her loom.那位老太太正在织布机上织布。

14 ostrich
