英式俚语：英国人爱用的潮流俚语

 流行的俚语总是随时在变。一些“老实巴交”、“默默无闻”的英文单词，说不定哪天摇身一变，变成了大家都爱用的潮流俚语了。

　　1. snatched 极好的(snatch本意是“抢走”)

　　You look snatched in the wedding dress!

　　你穿这件婚纱超赞!

　　2. cancel 任何不喜欢的东西都可以用这个词回复

　　"Would you like vegetables with dinner?"

　　"CANCEL!"

　　“晚餐吃蔬菜怎么样?”

　　“不好!”

　　3. budge¹ up 挪一挪;让开

　　We had to budge up to let the fourth person in the back of the car.

　　我们挪了挪，好让第四个人坐到车后面来。

　　4. lit 漂亮，热辣，身材好(lit原本是light的过去分词)

　　That chick is lit!

　　那个妞真火辣!

　　5. high-key / low-key 高调的 / 低调的

　　I'm going out tonight but it's pretty low-key.

　　我今晚打算出去，不过没几个人知道。

　　6. have a flutter 下赌注(flutter本意是“煽动翅膀”)

　　Aunty Paula likes to have a bit of a flutter on the horses.

　　葆拉姨妈喜欢在赛马上下一点儿小赌注。

　　7. blimey (表示惊讶)哎呀，天哪

　　Blimey, what a lot of food!

　　哎呀，这么多吃的!
