1. Former president Jimmy Carter is expected to be released from an Ohio hospital today. Cater was hospitalized for the

night after experiencing an upset stomach on a flight to Cleveland to promote his new book. Cater plans to resume his book

tour today in Washington.

2.  Following Haiti’s massive earthquake last January the US pledged more than a billion dollars. The only problem, now

nine months later, Haiti hasn't seen a penny. The money is still tight up in Washington. Officials in various government

branches say the problem is bureaucracy, disorganization, and a lack of urgency.

3. Mexican authorities say there are no confirmed deaths and 11 people are missing after a landslide in the southern state

of Oaxaca. Official’s first stock that hundreds of people might have been buried or dead.

4. Intelligence officials say he has intercepted a credible terror plot against Britain and France. Security fears did

force the evacuation of the Eiffel Tower for several hours Tuesday, but officials in both Britain and France have not

raised the overall threat level
