[00:17.80]1 Well I think for me at school
[00:20.57]I did history and French and maths,
[00:23.25]and I wish I'd done woodwork
[00:25.07]because I'm incompetent in my house…
[00:26.96]I can't put up a shelf,I can't paint a wall,
[00:30.24]so it costs me a lot of money
[00:31.44]to have decorators in,
[00:32.52]or my uncle who is a painter/decorator himself,
[00:36.30]so I really wish I'd done woodwork.
[00:38.96]2 Well,one subject that I wish
[00:41.74]I'd learnt at school is typing,
[00:44.64]because you know it's very important
[00:46.47]in everyday life and I still only type with
[00:48.83]two fingers and if I'd had the time
[00:51.54]it would have been a really nice thing
[00:52.71]to have done and I think it would
[00:54.07]have helped me in my life.
[00:56.56]3 The one pratical skill that I really wish
[01:00.73]that I'd been taught in school is note-taking
[01:03.51]because I find it extremely difficult to follow
[01:05.95]what people say to me in meeting
[01:09.79]and take notes at the same time,
[01:11.37]and because my memory's very short,
[01:14.10]I often forget those things,
[01:16.01]so that's definitely one skill that I wish
[01:18.65]I'd been taught at school.
