2. Libya says Moammar Gadhafi won't step down, but the government is ready to discuss changes in how the country is governed. Spokesman Moussa Ibrahim says Gadhafi has no official position to relinquish. Libya's anti-government rebels have rejected a proposal to have one of Gadhafi's sons take over.
3. At least six people are dead from severe weather in the South. High winds, hail and lightning blew through the region Monday, uprooting trees and knocking out power to hundreds of thousands of customers. Meteorologists are investigating several reports of tornados touching down in the region.
