1. New details on the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. The White House says bin Laden was not armed when he was confronted by US commandos but did try to resist. Officials also say one of bin Laden's wives tried to rush the commandos and was shot in the leg.

2. The demolition of part of a levee in Missouri has apparently eased the flood threat in the tiny Illinois town of Cairo. But there’s still a threat downstream where the river is expected to see its highest levels since the 1920s.

3. Six Louisiana boy scouts have been rescued by a National Guard helicopter. The boys and two scoutmasters have been stranded by high water in an Arkansas forest for a day and a half.

4. And a Florida deputy sheriff's cruiser is in for some major repairs after a ten-foot-long alligator took a big bite out of the bumper. Authorities say the gator attacked the car while the deputy was waiting for a trapper to show up.
