Now, this issue has been going on for two, two and a half years now. I think it started during the campaign. CIA director Leon Panetta has been tapped to become next secretary of defense. Current Secretary of Defense Robert Gates is expected to be retiring this summer. U.S army general David Petraeus has been considered to replace  Panetta as the head of the CIA.

A shooter opened fire at Kabul airport today, killing 9 people, six of them U.S troops. Now officials say an Afghan military pilot started shooting after he got into an argument with the troops. The Taliban claimed that the shooter was an insurgent who infiltrated the Afghanistan military. But NATO says that is not the case.

A massive storm that one forecaster calls amazingly explosive is still turning south and east of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers.There's wind damage, hail damage, flood damage, apparent tornado damage.In some combination from Texas and Kentucky to Georgia, worst of all, 11 people have been killed in these storms today alone
