Hello, Kathryn Stolarchuk with the national weather. To the satellite and cloud of the New South Wales’s coast is producing showers to the Hunter. Patchy cloud over the Tasmania and eastern Victoria is also bringing some showers to those areas. And there is also a light cloud above southern WA. Queensland can expect isolated early showers in the northern Cape York Peninsula, and earlier fog patches above the east coast. It will be fine for most New South Wales apart from isolated showers on the central and north coasts and earlier frost inland. Winds will be east to southeast in the west, easing during the day. Morning frosts are expected across Victoria with a fine cool and generally sunny day to follow, and light to moderate northwesterly winds. In Tasmania, showers above the west and far south but fine elsewhere. And a cool to mild day with moderate northwesterly winds. Fine and cool for South Australia with frosts in the southern agricultural areas, light to moderate winds. Isolated showers for WA’s goldfields but fine over the rest of the state. And it will be a fine day in the Northern Territory with some morning’s fog patches over the top end. To the forecast for Sunday, cloudy for the east coast capitals can break an unexpected low of minus 3, with rain for Hobart, Adelaide and Perth. And a fine and sunny day in Darwin with the top of 32. |
