Thick cloud streaks across New South Wales are bringing showers to the coast and central inland. There are also a few scattered storms over southeast South Australia as low level cloud clears. And cloud over northern Queensland is bringing showers and storms.
Taking a close look at the states now. And Queensland can expect some isolated showers above most of the east coast today and some isolated thunderstorms over the Far North.
Rain's expected through the central parts of New South Wales extending to the northeast and easing in the afternoon. Isolated showers in the south with the snow falling above the alpine peaks.
Some scattered showers in Victoria mainly over the south and around the mountain districts. There's a chance of some early morning thunderstorms above the Gippsland coast and snow showers are developing about 1,700 metres.
Scattered showers are as well for Tasmania mainly above the west but fine elsewhere.
South Australia can expect isolated showers over the agricultural area, clearing in the afternoon.
There's a chance of shower for inland WA. But it should be mostly fine elsewhere.
And isolated showers for the Northern Territory today, mostly in the top half.
Looking ahead now, and a fine day is expected for Brisbane, Sydney and Hobart. Partly cloudy in Melbourne and Perth. And a few afternoon showers for Adelaide and Darwin. |
