 1. Republicans meet again with President Barack Obama looking for an agreement on the Nation's borrowing limit. Earlier Monday House Speaker John Boehner said he agrees with the president that the debt limit need to be raised, but the Republicans would not back any deal that includes a tax increase. 
 
2. A Florida Panhandle town is grieving the loss of a couple and their 5 young children who died in a Western Alabama plane crash. The family was flying back from a family reunion in St. Louis on Saturday when the Cessna went down near Demopolis, Alabama. 
 
3. The death toll rises at Russia after a cruise boat sinks in the Volga River, killing at least 55 people. Dozens more remain missing. The vessel was more than a half century old, carrying 280 people. 
 
4. In Minnesota the state government is shut down, but some employees are still being paid, starting with lawmakers, along with the governor's housekeeper and personal chef, the budget impasse is entering its second week there.
