Queensland can expect moderate to heavy falls in the southeast coast and east Darling Downs areas. Afternoon showers and storms in the east and through the tropics.
Fine with lengthy sunny periods in the west of New South Wales, cloudy in the northeast with rain and heavy falls likely above the far north coast.
Isolated showers and afternoon thunderstorms possible over most parts of Victoria. Areas of drizzle over Gippsland mainly in the evening.
Isolated showers across much of Tasmania, clear in east and south in the afternoon. It should be fine in the west.
To South Australia, thunderstorms becoming scattered over the west coast district. Isolated showers and storms developing elsewhere during the afternoon except in the far northeast.
Isolated showers also expected for the southwest corner of WA. Showers and thunderstorms also forecast for the Kimberley.
And in the Northern Territory, showers with gusty storms in Alice Springs. Showers and storms also over the Top End.
And looking ahead to Monday, showers likely across most of the eastern capitals: a top of 30 for Melbourne; a chance of a storm and 34 in Darwin. |
