A trough over Queensland is generating widespread cloud, rain and storms across the central western highlands. A high is keeping much of the southeast Australia clear while sending showery onshore winds into eastern New South Wales. A cold front is bringing rain to southwest Western Australia. In Queensland, morning drizzle and afternoon showers will continue over the western, central and southern interior, isolated showers about the peninsula coast. Areas of rain in the north of New South Wales, fine in the southeast. Isolated showers elsewhere.
In Victoria, a fine and mostly sunny day. Cloud increasing in the north of the state with isolated showers possible in the far north at night. Tasmania will see increasing cloud in the north with possible inland drizzle, otherwise fine. To South Australia where It’s cloudy with isolated showers about the Flinders and northeast pastoral districts.
