A band of clouds stretching from southern Queensland through to New South Wales will bring stormy showers. Patchy cloud over South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania will generate scattered showers. Some isolated showers about the Queensland east coast today, tending scattered along the north tropical coast. Showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southern interior. In New South Wales, some isolated thunderstorms across the central and northern inland. Fine in the northwest, showers elsewhere. Some scattered showers over the north of Victoria and near the coast. Isolated thunderstorms later in the day. Patchy rain about Tasmania's west becoming widespread about the east with heavy falls. Isolated thunderstorms about the northeast and Bass Strait. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms for South Australia with hail possible over the Mary and southeast districts. Increasing showers around the ranges, south of Auger later in the day. Western Australia can expect some isolated showers in the southwestern district. Rain areas will develop near the central west coast this afternoon. And in the Northern Territory, some isolated light showers about the north and northeast coasts with a chance of early morning showers on the west coast. And checking tomorrow’s weather briefly, there’ll be showers across most of the capitals. Mostly fine and sunny for Brisbane; rain at times in the Hobart and mostly sunny in Darwin. |
