 1. The Senate is expected to approve a higher debt ceiling limit and more than $2 trillion in spending cuts over the next decade. That's the deal that cleared the House Monday. The bill then goes on to the president for his signature. 

 
 
2. An autopsy is planned for today on Celina Cass, the 11-year-old northern New Hampshire girl who disappeared from her home July 25th. Her body was found Monday near a hydroelectric dam a quarter-mile from her home. Police are calling her death suspicious
 
3. Emergency workers are watching rising floodwaters in the Philippine capital. Manila's rivers and canals are rising after a night of monsoon rains. Back-to-back storms in the northern Philippines have killed more than 60 people in the last two weeks. 
 
4. And a Youtube video of a snake crawling onto the windshield of a van in Tennessee is an Internet hit. Hundreds of thousands of people have viewed "Snake on a Car." Tony Fisher of Collierville told reporters the snake came straight up from the left side of the hood last week as his wife Rachel was driving.
