We're emerging from the world's recession since the great depression,catastropic XX crashing of the economy,catastropic job loss,the lives of which most people alive today might experience.And the whole created by that terrible recession is deep.And we've climed part of the way out of it,the way for there to go.And that's why again the president believes we can't just sit back and do nothing in the face of an economy that's not growing fast enough and in the face of ,as you say,unemployment is far too high.
