In the video obtained by Fairfax Newspapers, Warren Rodwell says his family, asks his family to help raise a 2-million-dollar ransom. Mr Rodwell was abducted from his home in Mindanao by a gunman early last month.
Three men remain on the run after a fatal shooting in Sydney yesterday. The man, who was a member of the Lone Wolf bikie gang, was shot in the head and body outside his Sans Souci unit. Two men, who were with him at the time, have been charged with refusing to cooperate with police and now face court today.
A bushfire threatening homes in Perth's eastern suburb is now under control. About 30 people had to be evacuated, but they were allowed to return to their homes last night. One firefighter suffered minor injuries during the blaze. Roads to the airport had to be closed, causing minor flight delays.
And a London court has sentenced two men convicted of a racist murder committed 18 years ago. Gary Dobson and David Norris have been sentenced to a minimum of 15 and 14 years respectively.
