 First up,today president Obama announced a new plane for some changes to the US military.President's idea is for the military to be liner and cheaper.the country's recent economic problems and the governemnt's budget concerns are party of this.Official say they are trying to balance America's security needs and country's resources.When they announced the new strategy yesterday.President Obama said the military's budget will keep rolling over the next ten years.It just will not roll as much as it had been.He said his goal is to keep military strong and the nation secure.The critics say it is a sign that the America is retreating from its globable responsibilities.One republican congress said the president strategy would mean America could not guaranty support for its allies.Defence secretary LeeP.He is to the right of the president here.He says while the US force will be smaller it will be more flexible and more technologically advanced.But the new strategy means the US will not able to actively fight two major wars at once.Like they did for years in Iraq and Afghanistan.
