And the British are recalling their ambassador for consultations on the escalating violence. 2. Authorities in Washington state are looking into Josh Powell's final activities before they say he killed his sons and himself in a house explosion. Powell had been under investigation for the 2009 disappearance of his wife.
3. About three dozen parents and supporters have staged a protest at the Los Angeles school rocked by allegations of lewd conduct by two teachers against children. Parents are demanding more information from education officials. They're also calling for the placement of cameras throughout the school.
4. Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador have been found guilty of doping by the sports' highest court. The 2010 Tour de France winner has been stripped his title and banned from competing for two years. |
